I am so excited and honored to be chosen as the winner of the 2004 Jim Elder Good Scholarship Fund Scholarship. I really enjoyed getting to meet everyone on the board and cannot tell you how much I appreciate this. From what I have been told, Jim was a wonderful man who genuinely cared for people and loved the game of baseball. I am so thankful to be a beneficiary of the scholarship program created in his honor.

Sincerely,

Ryan Bradley

I never put in writing how much you have changed my life in the last year. The scholarship has allowed me to work less on a job and concentrate more on school My mother also sends her gratitude and wanted me to tell you thank you for believing in her son.

I also wanted you to know what I’ve been up to. I am a member of the Golden Key National honor society, NABJ, and I am still reporting for the Traveler.

Again, I want to thank you for all the doors you have opened for me. You
have made the road to become a professional journalist easier to travel. Oh, by the way, my grades are still up and I remain at a 3.5 gpa. Thank you so much.

Sincerely,

Mike Frazier
